The goal of this blog is to explore and promote the use of Augmented Reality (AR) in education. We (Nedim and Wanju) are planning to post AR lessons, files and examples we create in the upcoming months and years. We hope that you will find this mini portal useful to your interests and that you are able to utilize some of the posted examples.
Nedim Slijepcevic is an Instructional Designer at College of Justice and Safety (Eastern Kentucky University) where he is employed since 2006. He received his Ed.D. in Instructional Systems Design from the University of Kentucky in May 2013. His roles in University operations are online course building, delivery and maintenance, media production and Web technologies. His research interests include Augmented Reality and its applications in the learning environment, learning psychology and educational technologies in general. Wanju Huang is an Instructional Designer in the College of Justice and Safety at Eastern Kentucky University where she has been employed since 2010. She received her Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction with a concentration in Technology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Campaign in August 2010. Her research interests include: Augmented Reality, Computer-Mediated Communication, Human-Computer Interaction, Instructional Technology, and Online Learning.
